I sold some piece of land I inherited and all of a sudden I find myself having more money than I could have ever imagined. Staki kuiblow yote kwa madame (which is currently what i'm doing:D) ama kwa hizi get-rich-quick schemes (watu wa car-hire, car wash na GNLD ketini pale-------->)
I'm here soliciting for genuine ideas which will help me multiply my new found wealth. I'll even consider taking on board the person who's idea I consider most practical and/or sustainable. Haya basi ndugu zanguni, twende kazi!

I am no financial expert, but you really need to invest in real estate. Coincidentally, there was a thread on wazua where the guy used about 8 million to build. So if you buy a plot worth 2 million, and build with 8 million, you can make a similar investment...maybe not exactly like that, but that thread could give you some inspiration. You better have 100-150k in rent rolling into your bank account than 10 million and no plan. Please read this thread: http://www.wazua.co.ke/forum.aspx?g=posts&t=20643

I don't know how some questions would get answered. If you were to succeed in biz, you'd have to do something you enjoy doing. I know exactly what I'd do with Kes. 10m, but it's tied down to my work.

Do you have an existing business? Are you looking to actively spend your time running a business or would you rather invest and wait for returns?

If you smart about it...you could get tenders and double that money by march...get paid before June and avoid tenders like the plague or till govt is in place.

If you don't know where you're going, any road will lead you there.
You went through the rigours of selling your land without an iota of what to with the proceeds?
I suggest you go to "BOX" and serious daughters of Eve will show you the how and where to invest the money.
