I have done alot of research and implemented all required recommendations :

  • Disable Some services (Superfetch, Windows Search, BITS)
  • Set Paging file to Windows managed
  • SATA AHCI settings in the Registry
  • Skype security settings and Chrome caching settings

I have done so much but sometimes, I can’t seem to permanently get rid of the 100% disk usage issue in windows 10. It freezes the machine for a while and sometime the frequency inasumbua.
Kama iko mtu anajua a permanent fix sssaidia.

Have you considered disk replacement? You seem to be having much workload.

Make Google your friend. K-Talkers know nothing about IT.

Natumia Visual Studio 2017 RC na haigwes fanya kwa 7 optimally.

Is this a laptop or desktop ? Replacing with a 7200 rpm hard drive might fix your bottleneck .I have had similar issues with the silly western digital blue and green which sacrifice performance for battery life assuming its a laptop.
If you decide to replace the drive don’t clone it just have a fresh installation and have minimal number of partitions as possible.

First you have to find out the program that’s wreaking havoc on your HDD. Click on the Disk column header (red dot on image) to order the list by disk usage. Once you find the offending app then you can begin to fix the issue. Process Explorer might give you a lot more info than Windows Task Man

Going by the processor that you have in your “notebook”, that is a budget laptop where the manufacturer sacrificed the performance to keep the cost down and also manageable battery life.Any processor series with a U at the end is a low power processor and mostly dual core.Similar notebooks are bundled with 5400 rpm drive and 4 cell batteries .
The combo of the above will let you down when you have read /write intensive applications. That’s my little knowledge in this vast field of IT.
Nunua SSD which will improve RW performance and equally good battery life.

It’s Windows Anti Malware service that keeps scanning folders in C. Limit the folders it scans or disable it.

you are sure about that?

Yep. Check it for yourself. It’s a known W10 issue.
