2018 Nissan Skyline: The good weed got finished

Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign
Japan-based automaker Nissan and Italy-based design and engineering firm Italdesign have collaborated for the first time to create a stunning new prototype — the Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign, based on a production 2018 Nissan GT-R NISMO. Longer, lower and wider than the production model, the Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign celebrates the 50th anniversaries of both the Nissan GT-R and Italdesign. This captivating car is scheduled to debut in Europe next month.

Forgetting all the technological advancements that have improved the drive and handling, from where I sit, everyone stopped smoking the good weed.
Design is dead.
I have a relic with a great engine removed from the Skyline GT-R33…bullet proof all round. I won’t argue there.
If you ask me though, the Skyline Kenmeri of 1973 is still the most beautiful Nissan Skyline ever.
Italdesign’s car can’t hold a candle to this one.

The mother Godzilla

Hiyo 1973 good design sijui nitafte replica ya project ama

Hehehe.
Good luck finding someone to sell you a Kenmeri.
I know someone who exported his to Australia. Mzungu aliinoki that much and paid top dollar.

All ‘supercars’ nowadays look like the gallardo.

Good weed ndiyo gani?

Companies are focused more on alternative clean energy and automation (self-drive), design itakuwa kwa back seat for now.

Template anyone?

Look at the 1973 Toyota Celica GT.

Then see what what it morphed into…
Very useless.

This is what i have always complained of. Sasa hiyo skyline mpya ni nini? The 1971 72 and 73 skylines were the bomb. The s15 silvia(why was i not born early) i swear i will import one niweke ugandan plates

mimi hii ndio sitawai sahau

I think someone should acquire rights to build “tribute cars” of the old designs with the comforts of modern cars .

Still beats me-how a respected design house came up with that fugly Morris Ital :D.

What happened to the GT-Rs they were all the rage sometime back zilikuwa kila mahali, now I have not spotted one in Months.

Huwa damn expensive. Zile nimeona top gear huwa more expensive than the original. But it would be awesome if they did it cheaply. Also kuna issues na design like the new bumper rules and pedestrian safety zinaharibu design so cars are not built like the old times. We need better laws but solution yangu ni import it to uganda and pay to keep it in kenya

The crossed eyed Morgan ,Old design modern internals (BMW N62 Engine ).

that car was made of plywood or something right?:D.

Uganda and Tz are soon joining the 8 Year Old Limit as Kenya moves to New 4 Year Age limit on imported vehicles…

4 year hapa watakuwa wametumaliza kabisa. Bunch of selfish greedy pricks with a hypocritical law. That law will only make sense if they put in place good inapection of vehicles on the road. Some vehicles are worse off by far from even 10year old imports

That’s a fugly design.

The GT-R next step of evolution seems to have faded. I thought Nissan would whip out some more sinister and bold that would change up the game.

Kuna reason companies are setting up assembly plants in the region, I support the move it will drive the price of new vehicles down. Change is good overall besides tumekuwa dumping site ya almost everything for far too long.
