A while a go I was invited to an Harrambee whose purpose was to raise money for an accident victim. The victim is completely paralysed. He has been this state for long. (I’m being polite because I’m not a killer).
How did ancient Africans deal with such cases? Social Darwinisn directs us to kill weak and disabled beings. Why is that most disabled people die at home? Why is that they don’t live for long? (Other factors might come into play as wel) Is that they are killed by their kins for obvious reasons? Does that mean one is socially (not legally) allowed to kill such a person (I’m struggling to write the word kill btw). Is this a practice yenye uendelea chini ya maji?
