For those who may be in the know: do I need a birth certificate in order to add a newborn to my cover? This info seems not to be available online.
that’s a given. otherwise you would be able to add even your neighbour’s kids.
you need a birth certificate, but its not simply a matter of adding them as a dependant like NHIF. You will purchase a cover for them. So if your AAR cover only covers inpatient, then their cover can only have in-patient. Their cover cannot have both in and out-patient since you are the principle.
I am the principle and the cover is IN and Outpatient, the baby is only few days old and the birth certificate is not ready
yeah, but I have a birth notification, B/C takes some weeks.
For a new-born i think they will only agree to cover after 4months or something like that, if I recall correctly (i might be wrong).
Call Frank - 0721789042.
He is my AAR contact/agent, he can help you with whatever questions you may have.
Some weeks? It will take few days if you play the game. I can hook you up with a guy in city hall
thanks
Thanks for the offer: I am actually not in a hurry to get the B/C because we have not agreed on whose ancestors should we call the baby.
use birth notification doc with insurance.
