I’m trying to get health insurance cover and I would some gems of knowledge on these two providers. Currently I’m using Ping-A-Insurance and I’m thinking of getting one to cover also my daughter. Kindly advise.

@syndicate and @syndicate2 hawk insurance policies from office to office, they are best placed to advise here

Ata sijui nikuambie nini

If going for private insurance go for;

  1. JCare (Jubilee Ins)
  2. First Assurance.
  3. Resolution/A.A.R (kama wewe ni birrionaire)

Jubilee for me. Anytime.

JCare sounds good. Thank you.

Go for Resolution…just for ur family…wewe mwanaume kauka!

Keep both if you can…NHIF is like 6 gees a year if you are self employed…if you are employed lazma ikatwe, NHIF cover ni opposite sana na what they advertise kwa tv,iko na exceptions mob sana…au partial payments.but ukiwa na bothu stand to benefit bothways which is better.

Pata Cancer ukiwa na Jubilee ujue depression ni nini…

Veeeerrry true.

Kama unahitaji matibabu majuu go for Resolution Health.

Did you buy cover directly from Jubilee ama Insurance agent/broker ?..ALWAYS buy from reputable brokers. Brokers have lots of bargaining power they’ll get you favourable terms.

It was the Employer’s insurance.

Kama employer ni muhindi  ask him/her to consider that Hindu Medical Scheme offered by Nyadwe Ins Brokers.

AAR

I used to work for Resolution Health (they had problems with paying hospitals), then went to work for Jubilee (they revolve you around there hospitals in Kenya or Pakistan).
There is no good insurance company, only good insurance (medical) advisors assist you with what you want.
Ukipata cancer Kenya no insurance company helps.

where do you work nowadays, sj?

if you get cancer in Kenya my best advice is. accept we are all mortal beings, make amends where necessary with your relations, make peace with God. avoid wasting resources, spend your last days with your loved ones.

So what do you advise?

Use the insurance companies Indians in Kenya use. They cover cancer. Also, they have helped Anyang Nyong, Chris Kirubi, Mama Lucy Kibaki’s and many more. Usinunie inpatient insurance in Kenya of more than KES 2,000,000 bcoz that only helps you for accidents. I you are above 40: unapelekanga gari pole pole. The big medical emergencies are not covered by one Kenyan underwriter. You need a broker!

Great insight. Any broker you can recommend?

I can’t advertise my competition huku for free.
