Masculinity is so far gone in today’s Kenya. Flip on Kiss TV and you see all the female worship at its finest. Not a single song about anything other than the lust/want/need for female approval. Then ofcourse there’s the lack of proper role models beginning at home. A lot of our fathers spent the better years of our upbringing in bars and/or at work so they hardly taught us anything other than alcohol tolerance and making money.
Oh for sure. I’m not relying on my father to teach me to be a man any longer, but there’s a lot to say for how far behind you begin that journey on your own as a Kenyan man
