Anyone here who works in SS? How long and how is it? I have been offered a job there and all indications so far seem good. It’s in rebel-held Unity State. I am torn between YOLO and playing it safe. The money is good and company organization headquarters protected by US soldiers. I get to work with vulnerable people and build a nice bankroll.

i have a friend who works there at Juba and seems fine. dont know about the other areas but i would think if ok. havent heard of ambush of foreigners. but they can be hot tempered so leave their black beauties alone. very possessive of their ladies
Maybe short term. Kama una option ya kubaki hapa, the better. Security tells you, the country is still not stable. For instance, we have marked SS as a high risk area in our Company. We only allow people to work from here.

Don’t bother. SS is still not stable. Especially for Kenyans, na hii tabia yetu ya kuvuruga everywhere just know that it’s a jungle huko. Sudanese men are insecure sana. Usipereke umalaya huko.
I would not recommend to you especially given that you have mentioned Bentiu,It is the remote part of South Sudan and is inhabited by the rebel forces(Nuer).
There was once a friend of mine who worked there and it was never an interesting place,they used to drink expired beer.
I always tell guys it is a wrong move to venture into South Sudan now,the fundamentals does not support.I know of guys who have USD Accounts yet they cannot access their money.
