Hio place inakuanga mbaya sana, narrow road and fast overtaking
Problem ni hao bike riders…they see an oncoming car and they never slow down…instead anakuwashia mataa and stick to the middle of the lane.
Another problem if they are on the same lane the guys/fools try and compete with cars…the vehicle accelerates to overtake them…they in turn accelerate.
Stubbornness ridefined!

Hao bikers ndio huwa na makosa last month I came by an accident where two bikes had collided now how the hell does that happen? One rider was seriously injured… bleeding through the nose and ears…don’t know whether he survived or not, the other one fled the scene
not far apart on that highway…

I witnessed exactly this on the Embu/Meru highway at Mururi jana. A biker was trying to overtake a Toyota 100, they both accelerated. There was an oncoming vehicle and the honda guy had to exit to the right. Kumbe kuna kamzee kana push his bicycle oblivious of the fool behind him. The kamzee and the bicycle wote kwa mtaro.

there’s a contractor who is widening that road already…he is almost at makutano although naskia fununu that itajengwa dual carriageway
He fled with his bike apparently it wasn’t badly damaged he also had sustained minor injuries but the other guy wasn’t lucky

On Sato the same area kuna boda mmoja alikua amebema mama na mtoto na wote hawana helmet. The matapaka can see there is traffic he joine the road na kuna range ina overtake. Waliponea by God’s grace.
Not sure how this will be done. There’s lobbying for the route from Kenol via Múrang’a towards Sagana/ Nyeri to be dualled instead.
