Bob Dylan is held in such high esteem by Yanks because he was part of the rockstar generation that used their fame to speak out against the Vietnam war and other ills of 1960s USA. His music IMO is not that good but the message is what makes it special. First heard of him after the Watchmen film. This is still hands down my favourite opening scene in any film.
The Watchmen is very underrated. It is my all time favourite movie.
Are those superheroes ?

Watchmen superheroes are not straight forward like mcu movie heroes. They tend to do shady things.
