I have good friends walifanya hio course wali score clean 'A’s Sahi wawili wanafanya online writing…mwingine ameingia farming. Huyo Ako kwa agriculture,scored A ya 84 points, nkamsho afanye med angalau itampatia job akasema actuarial science iko sawa, Sahi anataabika. Na ujue tulifanya pamoja na yeye kcse in 2004 and didn’t make it to campus so ali repeat form three after kukaa nje four years. Hio course iko sawa in the USA ama Europe. A total waste of time and grade hapa kenya

My brother that course is also known as the bachelor of unemployment. Pursue at your own risk. It’s highly marketable in developed countries, they mainly work in insurance companies to calculate risks and uncertainties a task that an underwriter can perform. Insurance companies in Kenya hata hawajui what a person with a degree in actuarial science is supposed to be doing. Please note the course was recently introduced at our universities.

I pursued the same path, although due to monetary reasons I went into Financial mathematics, The Course had been on offer since 1999

Hehe, kaka, actuarial Science was introduced in Kenya less than 12 years ago otherwise ningevutiwa but opted for a different course. Although opportunities for graduates are there sijakataa, the disadvantage of this career is hizo jobs ziko very few. Currently, the Kenyan economy generates less than 20 opportunities per year while our universities churn out more than 300 graduates kila mwaka. Kuharibu saidi, each employer demand that graduates must possess actuarial professional courses, na sio rahisi for most graduates. I said earlie hapo kwa post najua three close friends na hao close friends wakona friends na wengi wako kwa online writing…kazi ndio hakuna.

Actuarial science was introduced in 1999 pale uon the market is overcrowded now hence the low employment rates but with an IFOA certification hata ukifanya the first 3 papers jobs will be readily available, i did a similar course and i know the circumstances
