Hey Wadau, am thinking of setting up a biz selling stuff around adaptive clothing. These are the ones meant for the disabled, the old people and others with special dressing needs.
Its a big thing in the west. Anyone with an idea where they can be found, or the sales channels. Just anything, however vague that can point me to the right direction
how many are there that would need your merchandise?
Good question. Still doing the research. Thats why I threw a shot in the dark.
This is an area that has not been exploited in Kenya + our neighboring countries.
How is it being done in the west? I don`t have any clue where they can be found though.
I am sure the need is great, considering the number of children with physical, intellectual and visual disabilities we have.
Majority of them have huge challenges with dressing.
Have you though about sourcing ordinary clothes then you adapt them to suit their specific needs?
Remember that in matters disability, there is no “ONE SIZE FITS ALL”, you need to meet individual needs.
