There is a thread hapa dume ziliamkia @Agwambo because of his hustle - they trashed him; that is stupidity and foolishness. You never trash a man's hustle no matter what! And in many cases, the people in not formal hustles earn more than the employed or in formal hustle.

Case studies;

My friend who is a bank teller tells me the watchies in that bank have more saving than most tellers in the same bank. Surprisingly most bank tellers go to ask the watchies for a loan silently (because they know how much the watchie has in his account). Only a fool will trash that watcies hustle

In thika Rd, there is a man who hawks water on the road - they guys on your way to thika after way point. Surprisingly, that guy on a bad month makes 100k and he has employed others. When you see the guys hawking water to motorists at that point, respect their hustle. Being in car doesn't mean you have.

Agwambo, be proud of your hustle. Most of those who bashed you here envy you and even they are supposed to come to you, you sell them ujanja wa kuset up a shop in CBD. Why is it that many phone businesses in town are owned by wahindi?

Thread gani hio?Inakaa nilimiss.Agwambo The Enigma is a serious contributor to the Economy of this country.Agwambo The Enigma employs 13 Kenyans in all his hustles.Na anawalipia Taxes na NHIF wote.In addition,amewaweka wote kwa private pension scheme in addition to the the mandatory NSSF.When The Enigma sells one midrange smartphone he makes 40% profit.When he sells one phone accessory he makes 150% profit.Rent for one Moi Avenue Shop is 250k per month.Rent for the Two Rivers Shop is Ksh400,000 per month.If Agwambo has already broken even,how much is his daily turnover?Do the math.
Monthly target for petroleum is 160,000litres.Agwambo the Enigma is already pushing 148k,how much is his daily turnover for petroleum business only?The employees in this kijiji should feel privileged that The Enigma engages them.
Usijali kaka,Agwambo The Enigma cannot be shaken by small boys who leave mafudhi on their mamas soaps because they have not moved out.
The Enigma is unshakeable.

Shop bado ziko expe.Especially kama kuna traffic ya watu wengi.Moi Avenue is high traffic.We are open everyday 7days a week and we still make sales even on Sunday.The shop owner is a Somali and he knows this.The next shop is a Okuyu gentleman selling suits from Turkey.His shop goes for 400k per month.With this corona the only thing the shop owners tell you is that you dont pay goodwill.Am sure that one can get a better deal if one is patient but problem is that if you find a good shop and you dont take it immediately someone else will.
Started out in a tiny shop pale khoja as you walk from Moi Avenue towards old nation that barabara.Those tu tiny shops next to base ya chipo go for 80k a month.
Do you remember the guy who brought down simmers and put up shops za exhibition and then sonko akabomoa zote?He now charges peeps to use the space for parking.Now that sonko is powerless he is putting up bigger shops starting next month.Plan is to get two units on the ground floor facing the Kenyatta Avenue side.One will be foing for 100k.Hapo kitungu tutanukisha mbaya sana ya ma high end phones na accessories.The idea is you design the shop as a Customer Experience Centre with signage,branding and experiential units and engage beautiful girls as brand ambassadors (just a glorified term for a sales lady).Most customers who walk in end up buying something even if they didn't plan to hata kama ni earphones, data cable,charger etc etc

@Agwambo unalipa rent 250k a month? That means on a "bad" month you make at least 500k to cover for rent salaries and other expenses.That means MTU ako na 30 units one bedroom fully occupied, analipisha an average 15k bado hajakufikia...wacha baba aitwe baba

@Agwambo hiyo petrol station uliseti wapi .....Bondo ama? Nataka kuseti kisumu - nairobi road
Iko Kitengela.Ya Sondu pia paper work imeivana.The secret kwa hii game ni kukuwa na insider hapo total mwenye anakushowni dealership gani ina struggle halafu una take over.But una make sure hio struggle ikue juu ya eg poor management eg mwenyewe amewachia son walevi,death etc etc.
Za Nairobi ni hard kupata for a newcomer,but if you have the money you can get.Kama ile total ya hurlingham wanaitishanga working capital ya 9M-15M.
In dealerships they give you targets of petrol,diesel,kerosene and lubs to meet.If you dont meet them the contract is terminated.They give you marketing support by way of merchandise and promos but its upto you to bring business.Ma sacco za matatu kama wamasaa na naekana huokolea.They are attracted to credit facilities za one week.Ndudhi gang pia huokolea.Wanaweka fuel kama ya 200 bob daily but wako wengi.
Also fuel is cheap if you pay distributor in cash.Ukipewa credit it eats into your margins coz the supplies are more expensive.Like now nadaiwa 300k for supplies za Saturday.My Msomali supplier haniharakishi sana coz miumjenga ma simu za tecno phantom for free zikiland.Nilifaa kumlipa leo but ntajipa shughuli na hii pesa mpaka aniitishe.
