So my AliExpress package has been issued with a 16 character tracking ID and the Posta website asks for a 13 character tracking ID. does that mean i won’t be able to track my parcel on the Posta website once it arrives in Kenya?.

Posta will issue you another tracking ID via sms.
i use Mpost which is still Posta. they have never issued me a traking ID via sms. they just say your parcel has arrived, come and pick it.
Then wait for an SMS from them
I received an SMS from Posta some three weeks ago that my package had arrived. Kufika uko no package ati ithe number cant be tracked. Never mind that they sent the message. Anyway it was a 300 bob flashdisk so nikaacha tu ivyo.
they never sent an SMS on one parcel of mine. So i went there after awhile and they asked for the tracking ID to which i gave them and was actually a 13 character one as their tracking website requests for then they searched for and gave me my parcel. my concern is that this new parcel has a 16 character tracking ID and that may not be compatible with their tracking website, so if these guys don’t send me an SMS to come pick my parcel like they did once before, they may not be able to look it up in their website/system.
this is what i’m concerned about.
