Houses were sold for between 90 million and 112 million (Roughly 1 million USD):eek:…the project sold out five months before completion:eek::eek:
People have money wengi wetu ni breadcrumbs tu tunapata. Who buys such? Diplomats? Politicians? Businesspeople?

People have money indeed. 2% of the population always earns more than the rest of the 98% combined.

Only TEN (10) HOUSES.

There are projects with 40 or more and they aren’t as vocal as Cytonn.

But mchoraji, it ain’t about Cytonn. That price isn’t a joke.

I am more concerned about the price. 1 mil USD is a lot of cash even in the US. To imagine that there are hundreds of people in Kenya with a million dollars burning a hole in their pocket

Cytonn is Overated. Na ukichunguza sana ni jv.

$1m is not a lot of money. Kenya has 10,000 guys who are worth more than this. Probably 5,000 who can liquidate to buy these in cash. About 30,000 who can take loans to finance this…

Where are you?

We are not talking about net-worth here. Don’t make that mistake. I suspect that anyone buying a 1 million USD house has a networth of at least 10 mil, at least. This kind of people have multiple vacation homes, not just one. The people you are taking about can afford those houses, but they don’t have the luxury to do so because it is a significant portion of their wealth I.e they would have to liquidate investments so it doesn’t make sense

Price iko juu but I can steal the designs, si mbaya.

Naona uko na plot Murera.

their projects usually have financial backing from private equity funds based in Scandinavian countries.

wahindi ni wezi wahame Kenya .

i read somewhere that the amount of money people have put on BITCOIN is 2.5% ya GDP ya Kenya. and then you want to tell me people have no money? im sure they do but the source is questionable

if you consider that it is only 10 houses, it is very plausible. 10 out of 40 million.

Most retired professionals can afford that na watu wa diaspora akina @KaBuda na @Swansea.
