Does anybody have any experience with or know anyone who has experience in electric car conversions? I have a project car in mind and want to turn it into an electric car. Any help would be much appreciated

There was a thread some days ago touching on this topics, I guess it was about some university students converting those tourist land crisers into solar powered cars, totaly overhauling the fuel powered systems and replacing with an electrical powered system.
