4.The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve 4,420Ksh
The exceptional character of The Glenlivet spirit is apparent even before the cask ageing process begins, a result of the unique lantern shaped pot stills we use at The Glenlivet. For The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve, skillful selection of casks enhances the signature fruity flavors of The Glenlivet with traditional oak casks being complemented by selective use of American first-fill casks to give a hint of creamy sweetness – creating an exceptionally well-balanced and smooth malt.

5.The Glenlivet 15 6,430Ksh
The 15 Year Old’s distinctive character is the result of selective maturation; a proportion of the spirit is matured in a selection of French Oak casks for a limited period, so as not to overpower the final result. The Glenlivet was one of the first distilleries to use French Oak in the whisky making process, a technique that has since been imitated by many others. Limousin Oak, which is cut in the Dordogne region of France, is often used to mature fine wines and cognacs. In the case of The Glenlivet, its low density allows the spirit to penetrate deep into the wood, imparting the expression’s distinctive spiciness. The French Oak also increases the intensity of the whisky, resulting in a richer and creamier finish.

6.Passport Scotch 990Ksh

Does jack daniel’s have a bitter taste?

the whiskey has a prominent woody taste and the charcoal, burnt tastes come through as well. There is not much of the fruity taste that I sometimes could sense in the nose. But there has to be some balancing sweetness in the whiskey to counter the burnt taste that is nowhere near overwhelming or too harsh

After taste ni ya Gilbeys ama Naps

Someone educate me. For all my years, I cannot tell the difference between a whisky or brandy, and which to drink when, or even what to look for when paying top dollar for a bottle besides fancy shape and labelling. Someone please …

Aged premium whisky has some smoothness unlike cheap ones which taste like colored vodka.
