How feasible is it to hire a household and pay her 13k. She feeds and shelters in ur place.

I think anyone who is not payed by law should report their employer.

That helper is a human too and she has a future too and it can be anyones sister, mother, friend, kid nonetheless other developed countries dont have household helper.

whatever you meant!

unataka household ya nani?

Thanks for ur correction, meant househelp

Those who have formalised their business and are paying income tax ought to be paid the minimum wage. The people who work for security firms for example are the most formalised. They are paid the wages stipulated by law.
Not all matatu saccos adhere to the set rules. Many do not even pay NHIF and NSSF as stipulated by las
The rest mentioned are predominantly informal. They do not pay income tax and thus, their minimum wage is not guaranteed

From my own opinion and what is done in various countries a minimum wage is what the least one should be get paid whether a formal or informal job and should be come with NHIF and NSSF for those who dont think otherwise when you get injured at work how do u get reimbursement and compensation.
This sites gives a clear outline on how much to get paid and in case you are under paid you can file on their site.
