Following the recent developments across the globe we all realize that democracy is a stupid system. Congratulations to the Communist Party of China for cementing President Xi Jinping’s grip on power. It’s no surprise that after this move, which put Xi on par with the founder of the People’s Republic of China, Mao Zedong, Xi proclaimed that China would not emulate western political systems and “no one should expect China to swallow anything that undermines its interests." China is undoubtedly the next superpower. Meanwhile, Republicans and Democrats will continue quarreling over anything and everything as countries like Kenya which copy western systems without questioning slide into anarchy. Without involving mingiki our president elect has to swing into action and save Kenya from those with selfish interest. I believe that from the nationalist point of view we will as citizens of this country win against the bulshit that is being perpetrated against the development of this nation.

I share your opinion on democracy being a foreign concept that can not serve the intended purpose in countries with a significant cultural and value systems variance with those where it thrived.

Yes.The problem is we are following the Western system just like a black and white photocopier.
Those systems lest we forget have been refined through hundred years of civil war.We can't afford a civil in 2017.Too costly.
We need to have a federal system (like Switzerland ) and overall power controlled by the Religious leaders at the top like Iran.

Change hiyo topic. Its relevance is too lightly adressed. It cannot sum up the point of this thread. Wacha kuchocha buda ama tukunyesheee......
Doesn't matter Mr. Hoe ... all we need is a decisive regime that has the interest of each and everyone of us at mind. Start with the well being the rest follows. After all democracy wouldn't place food on the table.
