Arsen wenger calls on his players to up performance

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger
has challenged his players to
make the maximum of their
potential.
The Gunners are way off the pace
in the Premier League following
their 2-2 draw with Hull City on
the weekend which left them
trailing leaders Chelsea by 11
points with just eight rounds of
matches played.
Arsenal have also had a slow start
to their Champions League
campaign with just three points
from their first two group games,
and the French tactician has
urged his charges to add a
“fraction more” to their
performance in tonight’s match
against Anderlecht in Belgium.
Wenger told BT Sport : "We have
lost only one game in the Premier
League, but we have not enough
points with what we produced.
“Top-level performance is to make
the maximum with your potential
and sometimes in games you need
a fraction more, so that is what
we want to do - give a fraction
more to be really efficient in
what we do.”
The north London outfit have also
been unlucky with injuries as
they are missing several first
team players including Mesut
Ozil, Olivier Giroud and Mathieu
Debuchy.
