Articles and Academic writing gurus

Am thinking of develoing a product /system/website for the growing number of people venturing into this.

Naelewa kumekuwa na challenges of late. Let me understand the challenges you are facing and suggestion.

Including account re-sellers and managers.

Wale hamtaki ijulikane his ndio hustle yenu, inbox…I will post here.

Industry got flooded, quality of freelancers went down, number of accounts increased, pay rate decreased, kenyan freelancers rated lowly in most account, some accounts closed or blocked non-native IPs.

Best option is to develop a website and get direct clients or engage in affiliate marketing through blogging.
better option is to get multiple accounts, scale up with good writers and earn good money doing nothing but management of writers and accounts.
good option is to focus on well paying accounts and offer best quality that will guarantee premium ratings and pay.

Well said brother.

I regularly do articles on iWriter as a side hustle. Huku kuna wezi wengi wa articles. You write a decent article as per the requester’s instructions but they mysteriously reject it citing some mediocre reason such as ‘poor grammar’. Two days later you type a few sentences from your rejected article on Google and the search results are shocking. Your article has actually been used on some strange website from India by the same idiot who rejected it. The internet is a very unforgiving place for the naive and ignorant.

Well said. Used to write for Uvocorp and Writerbay back in the day. They got flooded and I quit. Sometimes I log in and sionangi hata kama kunakuwanga na jobs huko. Direct clients is the only way out, or better still divesting to other hustles. That hustle isn’t as lucrative as it was years ago.
