Autumn

Autumn is one of the things that lifts my spirits.
There is something magical about the crisp air, the changing colours of the trees and the last of the sunny days…
Talkers, what lifts your spirits without costing a thing?

the sounds of the forest in the middle of the day…with the cicadas singing their endless song…

What lifts my spirit is the breeze that comes from the ocean, pure and wet.

It doesn’t have to be the weather…
It is simple things that make you smile

Ebony, it should be a very beautiful season with leaves falling and all that romantic sounding stuff but for me it signals that winter is just around the corner, harsh cold rainy windy winter, thunderstorms etc. That ruins the glow. Today, I woke up to rain pounding my window. It also means it is dark most of the time. It also means nivae magunia zangu tena.

I get a bit depressed saying bye to summer and welcoming 8 months of bad weather. Looks like you are in the States though. But I will stop moaning when I spare a thought about my European neighbours in Scadinavian Countries. Let me find a song by Boys2men to keep us enthused.

For you

Rain can be lovely to litsen to when you are in bed and don’t have to get out… there is something soothing about it.
I am Kwa Wangu with you by the way…
