you need a new battery, hio imechapa ,had one which used to behave that way

New betri ASAP, and avoid over charging or starting your car (if you have any) while the phone is plugged in the car charger.

hp ni hewlett packard not horse power, hii ni forum ya tech not motoring. kwa hayo machache shukran

Samahani mteja! Sikuwa nimeona neno hp. Tafuta betari mpya. Itakugharimu shillingi elfu tatu na mia tano. @syndicate njoo kuna kazi hapa.

Yaani you can’t figure out on your own ata bila kuja kusumbua villagers that a new battery is required?
Do they teach you not to use common sense in school nowadays?

i guess higher, this is some serious machine

a peasant has to panic kwanza aisee, machini ni 1 year and 4 months old

Tafadhali jua kutofautisha serious machines na refurbished ones. Donge!!

Hehe, what effidense do you need? Shipping docs from hp?

Ndio mimi huyu, Elder tafuta 3200 kesho nikuletee before Afrojiri Sacco

Haina ngori brathe, halla me out when around. I will be here awaiting.

HP has a calibration tool, use it to calibrate your batt, lakini ikisema battery imechapa basi buy a new one

I have never known why, but I’ve been around five different HP laptop models and all face that same issue. Battery dies, buy a new one which will work fine for a few days/weeks then it too will stop charging.

I’ve never tried to switch out the batteries to models that have no issues with charging so I can’t offer much for now. Hapa ndio nasema kuna Mjuaji Uncle Google.

Main issue with lithium ion cells isnt overcharging them, the power management system controls that. The problem is depleting them, don’t form a habit of depleting them as it permanently changes their composition

swaffi

kabisa. i always stay plugged in as long as i’m using the laptop. only discharging when away fro power outlets. my last 2 laptops nimeuza after using for 3 years each and they were storing power for 3-4 hours.

batteries have a finite number of charge cyles built in to them, the more you avoid racking up these cycles, the longer your battery is gonna serve you- but you have to start with an original battery. ukisha replace you are on your own

This notion of overcharging batteries have always found it amusing
