bitcoin advice

afternoon talkers. My sister just told me ati amejoin chama fulani and guys want to buy/invest in bitcoins. So apparently they are to produce some 50k each (6 people) then waconnectiwe na an agent to take them through the purchase and “kufuatilia”. i think wanataka kugongwa hapa coz last i checked here 1 bitcoin ni kama $4000+.

swali ni, how easy/possible is it to purchase bitcoin or any cryptocurrency in kenya?

how would someone hypothetically speaking buy cryptocurrency in kenya?

i’ve advised her not to pay anyone anything ama atalilia kwa choo.

She can buy directly from localbitcoins via Mpesa. Why on earth does she need anyone?? Na jamaa jifunze kutumia google sio kuuliza maswali za ufala. Meffi

i’ve checked google mimi sio fala. wanted to get info from talkers labda mtu ameskia scam or story of same nature. dunia ni kuchanuana

very easy, you dont need a guy to connect you, ingia tu remitano.com ama local bitcoins

thanks. let me check.

Whenever I hear the word agent ata sifikiriangi mara mbili. I withdraw immediately. I own half a bitcoin currently. My advice is to buy directly from localbitcoins. Find someone with 100% reputation. Don’t transact more than 100K. The good thing about local bitcoin is that if they fail to pay you when you send the payment, you can contact localbitcoins and request that the funds are released to you. They are usually held in escrow in case someone tries something crooked.

The word agent means middle man and middle man means extra costs.
