From what I understand from article 138(8), presidential elections can only be canceled and a new one set if, among others listed, a candidate dies before or on the election date..nothing about illness. So unless Baba is planning to die, bed rest won't deter elections. Labda anatoroka to unleash something when he's away then he thinks he'll be received back like a savior or it could be looking for sympathy votes...can never be sure with these players.
