Don’t blame the government for matters outside its jurisdiction. Same way a British Citizen falls in trouble in Kenya, all British government will do is arrange for him a ticket home. Hakuna mambo ya pressure to Kenyan Government.
But other countries stepped in to negotiate with the kingdom for their own, now those earn better and are better protected than they were before. Meaning that a government has an obligation to protect its nationals working abroad especially when the numbers are substantial.
These are not visitors, these are large numbers of Kenyans recruited by KENYAN agencies. So you with all your know it all, seen it, ‘omniscience’. Warugurus case is nothing like your friends case.
We may not know how government works since we don’t have your all encompassing experience but we know Filipinos and other nationalities whose governments take their citizens seriously had the same trends which were changed by negotiations with the kingdom. That’s why people have a government.
Saying that 99% of people in Saudi are OK is saying what when in the last few almost 50 Kenyans aged early 20s have died in the so called Kingdom?
So if 99% of the people who work in Saudi are OK, then those who ‘get in trouble’ should be beaten, raped, killed, have their organs harvested and be buried in the desert? What happened to human rights? Can you kill 50 Israelis and an Israeli comments how 99% of Israelis in wereva are OK?
You can clearly tell through your kind of thinking why Africa is a shithole and why Africans will remain inferior. If an educated, well traveled person can reason like this, I mean. No wonder I just want my genes to get as far away from this cesspool of a gene pool as possible.
