Budget Laptop

Ideal specs:

Cpu:
Amd is always preferable but with the chip shortage, I don’t see myself getting one so I have to switch to the blue team,an 8th gen core i7 (or newer) would be ideal.

Ram:
8 gb ddr4 (running in dual channel and preferably not soldered as I want the latitude to expand if needed)

Graphics:
I’m not much of a gamer so the integrated gpu will do. Discrete graphics are always a welcome addition though.

Storage:
I already have a 256gig ssd and a 1tb hdd so I don’t really care about the prepackaged storage options as long as it has both an m.2 and sata slot.

Size and Display:
14’ and 15’ are ideal although I could consider a 13’. Has to be a Full HD panel though.

The Acer aspire 5 was heavily recommended but it has soldered ram which is sadly a deal breaker.

The lenovo Thinkpad t570 is okay but doesn’t fit my storage criteria and frankly just doesn’t look good.

If you have any recommendations and/or know any accompanying sellers please let me know.

Any help is appreciated.

@Nyamgondho we know your handwriting. You’re the only one who disputes for days how MediaTek is superior to QUALCOMM in all measures. We live in a democracy, we have accepted your arguments. But we boo you behind the scenes.

Budget perhaps?

60000 if I’ll have to get it brand new.If its refurbished, I don’t expect it to surpass 45k although am so desperate that money really isn’t a big concern

But you can go wrong with this one

it ticks all your boxes, amd rayzen 5, 256 gb ssd, 8gb memory (4gb soldered), 15 inch Full HD IPS Display, all that at usd 499.

Ingia ebay you can get a decent second hand lappy.

If you need to dispute, can it work with the shipping times to Kenya?
