Build a Hospital in 9 days?
The Chinese did it in 10 days. The Britons have done theirs in 9 days. But what are the considerations before we embark on building hospitals from scratch?
General Semonite, the army chief of engineers believes that we should prioritize the already existent buildings. He recommends a multi-agency effort that should involve dozens of policy makers, and from all relevant departments. The chosen building/place should have infrastructure/services in place; electricity, water, sewage. We also consider the supply chain and the staffing for the facility. In his emphatic style of speech, he says “ take the passion of the idea and put it on the ground”.Churches, stadia, hotels, schools are all potential hospitals and quarantine areas when shove comes to push!
