I need advice from someone who’s done this or is in the business of construction.
I have an 1/8 plot adjacent to the road and a few Kms (approx 7) from Eldoret. I am seriously considering setting up an inn\lodging for travellers that I will probably charge 700 - 1,000 per night.
Any input on how much that would cost. I have been advised that 3-4 mil will build it fully and finish at least 10 units, not sure though.
Also info on civil engineers and guys that can plan the development would be appreciated.

Plan for multiple entry/exit points. Make sure there’s hot showers all the time - solar is best, but I don’t know how sunny that place is. Observance of discretion is mandatory among staff, who should work in shifts & be as few as possible. Discreetly positioned CCTV is a must. Plant the live fence to shroud activities within now. BTW, it is better when the place is kinda out of the way…out of direct line of sight, not on the highway. Wewe jipange, watu walijua ROI is unbeatable.
