Uzuri hatukuchapwa wala sus hatukupewa but we had to sleep there until 3pm.
By 8 am, solar ilitoka ile kali but hakuna kupunguza mavazi wala kutoa blanket. Saa nne, tukaendea chai, tukarudi hapo hapo. Saa saba tukaendea githeri na tukarudi afternoon nap hapo hapo.

Hiyo ya kuskive morning preps. We used to get form ones matresses with the bedsheets and blankets already made and place it keenly on a sleeping Senior student.
Teacher on duty could patrol the dorms till kingdom come and He couldn’t find us till one certain character taller than the bed pulled such a stunt. For the mattress to remain on top one had to sleep flat and not turn. When flat the characters legs protruded in the corridor. They secret was blown.
