We are a free society. People can do what they want. You can’t tell people how to live their lives. So long as they are not breaking the law or interfering with other people’s lives, i see nothing wrong.

No one chooses such a life and I doubt you’ve walked in any of their shoes, never judge.

wengine wako job bunge la mwananchi is a funded NGO with fathers like Maina Kiai. remember one “mungiki” witness at ICC was sourced from them. mjinga ni wewe unapeleka pang’ang’a huko na hujui how the system works. they entice you to start yapping and write reports and design proposals on human rights and governance na wewe unawachwa hapo mdomo wazi.

Far from it @MaryJane , if you listen to some of the vitriol some of these fellows spew ndio utajua sio misfortune imewapeleka hapo. I guess that’s where the likes of Kidero and Khalwale source for goons to flex their political muscle

Hehehehe. Kuna wengine pale Uchumi house (Wakale sana sana) and outside City hall. Lakini tribalism aside, Luos love this habit sana kwanza huko eastlands in places like Kariobangi, Ngomongo, Baba Dogo etc.

Nani afadhali?

It’s an idlers place indeed, coz i’ve been there. But there’s more than that. Its visited with jobless pple to professors and other intellectuals. I remember in late
2013 one guy who is a lecture in one of the universities came with an idea about Environment, and he gave all members who were available that time FREE UNEP Entry
ticket for the Global South to South conference which was to take place at Gigiri that following week.
It gave us first glimpse into Unep and interacted with world environmentalists and ambassadors for over 1 week.
It was a great experince thnks to jevanjee.

most importantly he achieved his goal and accounted for the budget under Mobilization, awareness creation and empowering. He wrote a good report and apeer reviewed academic journal of his heavy lifting to make a whole bunch of Kenyans interested in the environment and attending a global summit. (See Appendix 1-56)
