Bus Crash Investigation: MMNN

Wadau kieleweke, juzi tu mliona hii thread
https://www.kenyatalk.com/index.php?threads/kebs-chieth.79316/
disaster inaanza at source of materials, ukinunua chassis upatie fabricator he takes shortcuts kwa materials, in the above thread tuliona vile wananyonga rebars, sasa tuangalie Angle lines, square tubes na channels
tuanze na angle lines

The mhindi in indaa, has first class chuma but its expensive but no wories kuna kuaga na grade two na three, so what do contractors do? what would you do na ushapewa kazi na mwenye kazi hajui any of this biznaa, they go for the lowest grade, ile chuma waweza bend na meno.
Meffi mhindi hajui waenda jenga nini, yeye kazi yake nikuangalia sales jioni aone kaa amemeet target.
substandard chuma ikifika workshop inapata lowly motivated and poorly paid welder hana rods za kutosha anapiga spots za kushikilia tu, ata “makaa” hawatoi

uko very happy ukipokea your rust bucket at the end of a month.
this is what lead to this

ata kaa ulikua umefunga mshipi theres no way you would have survived this, tumeona zingine pale Narok seats hungoka zote pia, dont forget that.
in conclusion shida yetu ni nini?
fake inspectors everywhere due to corruption, from fake degrees to kupeleka mtu wangu unquarified kazi kitengo fulani, wakenya tutaendelea kufa, When I die I want to go holding a Kenyan flag so that Jesus will know that I have already passed through hell.
Recomendations: Disband KEBS and NTSA, restucture them again, post competent officers there who have no Godfathers. Arrest and prosecute all business who who manufacture goods in 254 which shall be found to be substandard, shut down their kambunis till they pay a hefty fine (can go towards paying china) and start producing genuine products, otherwise God for us all.
ni hayo tu kwa sasa mehvaa helmet ya chuma, matusi and opinions welcome.
E&OE

PS: kwa site ingine ilikua na pic mob sana za buses being fabricated in 254 mbisha zimeenda zote, my bad sikua nimezisave.
samahani wadau.
hizo nimepata gugu

You have valid points dereva mwisi. Made in Kenya is a sure mark of disaster.
Lakini hapa Mimi I manufacture Original Genuine and quality standard Fake Tomatoe sauce.

Thanks, you are trying to look as all areas for possible explanation of this crash. I don’t usually direct people here but people wouldn’t listen to reason right now. People want someone to blame and that is very easy. Saa hii its President Uhuru fault for this crash and the police. Let’s await the day these two drive all the cars in Kenya to solve this problem once and for all. Nimesikia pia police should also be withdrawn like NTSA and I don’t know who should man roads. Bottom line is that this bus company and bus wasn’t licences to drive at night by NTSA but they did. The bus company and bus driver should take primary responsibility for that mistake.

Accidents are inevitably unavoidable… However law enforcement needs to concentrate more on PSV’s…Instead of disbanding NTSA,give them more power and leave private motorist alone…

DPP on your case from midnight, mimi isipo kua kukamua mafuta ya muarabu before heput other gadgets sijawai iba kitu ingine, we meet in court monday.
btw your tomato sauce is tops, why lie

Evidently you haven’t encountered Ntsa goons on the highway. Again, Some are not accidents. When a drunk driver pushes a bus load of people past 100km/h, at night, on a drift while overtaking, that is no accident. That’s an eventuality.

was inspired by my best tv show aircrash investigation, those guys are thorough, ile part which brought the crash hua inamulikwa. can we have that in kenya. KEBS waende wote

As I said before the whole problem is with the inspection phase. Why would a greedy builder use top class materials and follow proper protocols when he knows he can use the worst of the worst materials in the market and the vehicle would still pass inspection? If the inspection authorities are clean with no ties to corruption literally 80% of local builds would be deemed death traps.Ni nyumba ya mabati tu which has the ability to move. Also do they actually calculate for such things as stability, weight distribution etc ama they make the buses as big as the owners want them?

The day we will allow our police force to fall under the county government, that’s when these problems will end…Let them collect speed fines for their annual budgets and I can tell you watu watapata adabu…

death traps, mobile coffins ndio zinatubeba, check foreign buses zile ziko hapa from china malaysia and brazil, Gemilangs from malaysia ziko juu sana, yongtong from china pia, coast bus iko na afew Brazillian buses, this buses dont disintegrate on impact. shida yetu ni hio nimeelezea hapo juu.

vehicle inspector looks at the final product, hio imejazwa filler, lights brakes, toa kitu kidogo unapata sticker,
MMNN says inspection ianze kwa design na materials zikaguliwe. lives will be saved. how the heo did we lose 52 people. heads should be rolling right now

Well spoken but is it possible that this can be seen by the powers that be?..we know you got the connections my French.

Point taken but from what m reading its like the bus flew from a fly over…No amount of engineering would have prevented the catastrophic failure of that roof…We need speed governors that give us real time speed of these buses…(I may be wrong)

I totally agree with you @mabenda4, in fact that is premeditated murder.

This here should be enshrined in the constitution

soma tena, area ndio ya itwa flyover, from the images i posted you can see where it broke the guardrails

In fact, the government should handle this with the same seriousness it does Terrorism. 52 lives…one morning jamaneni…
