Show me any year the awards have been dominated by any other regions. Those are the traditional African football power houses. Others like Zambia and DR Congo only pop up occasionally.

it’s not about domination, the reality is that there are other African players performing better than players on that list, how come odion ighalo is missing? how about Victor Moses? show me any other African player in European leagues who has scored more goals than Michael Olunga! those awards should be called #CAFWESTAFRICA AWARDS.

West and North Africa are also rarely seen on the Rugby front. Then there is Volleyball where West Africa is invisible.

Its good to specialize on what you are best at.

Aubameyang has scored more than Olunga. CAF is not doing enough to promote football in Africa.
