Imagine ingekuwa kenya. Some countries really have the fighting spirit and the financial muscle to back it up. Unajenga hao, tornado inapita nayo. Mwingine hurricane hampei nafasi. Kiasi tu wild fire. Mara typhoon mara earthquake. Ingekuwa kenya…
I was reading somewhere some time ago that in the Sierras in California they needed to cut down over 70 0 million dead trees to reduce wildfire risks. Lumberjacks were making 100 grand easy, talk about kunukisha kitunguu. @Purple if you ever want to change jobs, now you know
155,000 acres ni kidogo sana in a country as big as the U.S.
Ted Turner owns 2 million acres and about 30 homes.
9 billion in damages is also not too much in the U.S.
To put it in perspective Kenya’s annual budget is about 1 trillion shillings. the intelligence community alone in the U.S. which hires people to listen in on non sense receives 5 trillion shillings annually. one parastatal, recieving 5 times our national budget.
This is not the first time it hasn’t happened. California burns every single year, usually over the summer time. They have too many trees and brush that they need to get rid off but choose not to.
