From yesterday’s drama at Bomas where Ruto was locked out from the president/ Raila VIP holding room and was seen visibly angry while Uhunye was almost falling from his seat laughing all the way to NCBA bank: Can we now say that the Uhuru-Ruto marriage is irreconcilably broken? This is what I was predicting in September though it is coming much late in the day, 2 months after.
Ruto has to work extra hard to overcome this break up, else his star is completely dimmed!
Ruto will destroy himself, or destroy his opponents. When Ruto left Odinga’s camp, he did not look back. He will stay with Uhuru untill he can’t stay with Uhuru. io siku ikifika (after careful calculations) Ruto hataangalia nyuma.
For now Ruto has sound legal advice from his lawyers to remain where he is. If we have a drug overdose before 2022 then Ruto ascends to power automatically.

It will be extremely hard for him to overcome this due to his tainted image and perceived criminal past… he has to either swallow his humble pie and hang on with the prezzo and forget about 2022 or jump ship and get jailed pronto!! But if I were him, I would court alliances and be ready to play second fiddle with even RAO right now… If he supports RAO for 2022, all this BBI nonsense will be done and dusted and RAO will obviously win in 2022 as he possibly ( I believe he did) won in 2007. I still believe that BBI is hogwash, pure unnecessary nonsense that does not require so much fanfare to deal with… only being for well-known selfish ends… and supported by fools… the time and billions being spent for this can be used in better ways in an ailing economy
As someone said before, Ruto’s problem is he does not want to retain the current crop of bureaucrats in his government. To protect themselves they have to block him. Ruto only needs to assure the deep state he won’t interfere with their systems
