I have a problem with my laptop at home. It used to connect automatically to the wifi network on startup but now it doesn’t. I have to go to the icon and manually connect. It is just a bit inconveniencing but everything works fine.
Q1. Is it a problem with the laptop?
Q2. Is this a feature to ensure that the start up of computer is faster? It is much faster at start up.

Experiencing the same problem here, i can’t connect automatically despite connection settings being ok…problem started with an attempt to login to a certain wifi in vain
