Yesterday I removed the battery from a toyota allion to jumpstart. Nikirudisha radio inashinda ikisema “A program cannot be read. Please consult a dealer”. The message doesnt go away and it hinders someone from using the reversible camera.Fortunately that’s a common problem ukitoa battery.

If the screen can tilt to expose the CD slot, see if there’s a tiny hole somewhere next to the slot and push a straightened paperclip into it. That is the emergency eject.
Rule no 1 NEVER REMOVE YOUR CAR BATTERY TOI JUMPSTART SOMEONE, THIS ISSUES WILL ARISE!!!
Give it time the computer takes time to reprogram, it will come to its senses, if it doesn’t seek some help from experts
Your car should have a cd in the map cd drive all times. Burn one or buy one. If it does not have a map cd drive, then you should use a memory card to install correct software or have it done for you at Ngara nbi. Do not accept to have one time reset done. you should buy the cd and have it living in its special drive. That’s the only solution. Mechanics usually eject the cd and steal it. Or just change the radio to something like a Sony.
I had the exact problem a few days ago, had to call a guy who deals with car radios and he used an SD card and I was sorted. Though I think the long term solution is installing another radio like Sony.
Is the make clarion? Most stock stereos are clarion. It has a tiny hole where you insert a pin to push a reset (reboot) button. Used to do that on mine though it eventually died on ‘pwr grd error’
