Caster Semenya

The debate about whether she should be allowed to compete with women has reared it’s ugly head again. Calls have been made for Semenya to undergo Hormone Replacement Therapy to normalize her t-levels. Nimeona she has internal balls and no ovaries and she suffers from a condition known as hyperandrogenism which critics argue that she has extremely high testosterone levels which give her an advantage over other women athletes. I really pity her because I am sure it’s really traumatizing going through all the criticism and invasive tests that she has undergone but on the other hand, I feel it is unfair for her to compete against normal women who have worked so hard.

other than the internal balls and extremely high testosterone levels, what else does she have?

may be facial hair, a dick (internal or otherwise ), deep voice , huge cheekbones etc

A very deep voice, a manly muscle tone and a wife!!!

This is a tough one. If you disqualify her because of how she was ‘created’ then what will stop someone else to complain about another athlete who is e.g. too tall with longer legs and therefore takes bigger steps when running giving them unfair advantage over others…

automatically that makes her male

True…but she has internal balls men…there should be a third category for transgenders.

Hehehe.

If it quacks like a male, walks like a male, runs like a male, and ferks like a male, It is a Male!

The “man” Semenya has been defeated several times by pure women, most recently by Faith Kipyegon in the 1500m finals in London. Let the women up their game and stop blaming Semenya because of her physique.
Great athletes like Michael Phelps and Bolt were also advantaged by their bodies but nobody complained they were aliens or supermen.

I bet she deliberately let them beat her to cool off the debate on her.

you took the words right out of my mouth

Eldoret Express and Nandi Express used to beat her in 800m

at that time she was undergoing debilitating hormone therapy, in addition to stress caused by all the negative media attention

I think it’s a thin line.If you have an advantage that makes you be like people in a different category, you should perhaps compete with people in that category. ION, if you started training today and then competed with women, do you think you’d beat all of them? Nope, some will still beat you but that doesn’t mean that being a man doesn’t give you an advantage over women athletes.

Enyewe he is a man… just has no deek. But IAAF will not do anything that looks discriminatory esp in this politically correctness era. Not to mention future implications. And someone will have to do some more research to prove that indeed her biology gives her an advantage… IAAF would rather keep that money to themselves.

she has a wife??? how now

I have nothing against her but the debate is about her sexuality. If she has testis in place of ovaries then this raises very pertinent questions.

Don’t we also have our own athlete with nearly such features also competing with Semenya in 800
