Even as the UCI Racing Calender begins with the Tour Down Under, we also have our calender of tours this year, they are still tentative but are as follows:
Tour of Meru
Tour of Kisumu
Tour of Eldoret
Tour of Machakos
Tour of Mombasa
The dates are yet to be confirmed, still being planned. Time to upgrade bikes.
If you know of any other grand tour, changia hapa. Meanwhile a cool idea of stowing your bike.

are you upgrading to a road bike? If so here is what I am planning to buy. will cost about 83K (ÂŁ650) before shipping. The bike has superior components like the Shimano 105 drive train and Mavic aksium wheels. Here is the video.
the problem with premium brands is that they value the frame a lot but give inferior components as compared to lesser brands. Like that bike has alex rims…even my MTB has alex rims. you’ll find the drive train is shimano sola at best. The fork might not be even carbon. same with other premium brands like specialized and scott.
Had a chance of riding both last year, was drawn to the SWorks more, but there isn’t much of a difference they both had 105s but the specialized stood out more, unless I can get to customize the Madone
If you want to import a bike, go to eBay preferably UK, find the bikes on auction there but look around to see the average price of bikes you want so you can know what to bid, if you find one that interests you, offer the seller a reasonable price and bargain with them to reach a deal. On shipping, use a company like Kote Kenya, you just pay a deposit of about 50% of the price agreed upon, and they purchase, handle and ship for you to Kenya, you just pay them 750kshs per kilo and you sort out the rest once your bike lands here, it’s pretty hassle free, and how I got my bike
