For me The Tour of Meru stands tall as it was the most gruelling ride I have done this year, Nbo-Meru-Nanyuki-Nairobi in 3 days a lot of climbing from Embu to Meru, Meru to Nanyuki pia and have to deal with the infamous Sumbuiga climb @ Isiolo junction and crazy crazy headwinds on that climb. Nanyuki to Nairobi is equally long (think 270 km).
The Tour of Machakos also is memorable as the first and probably only multistage racing event in Kenya, its memorable because of racing up Kathiani climbs and respect to KRD walipanga watu kwa peloton proper.
Tour of Namanga was just brutally long but the best peloton formation I have been, was pure teamwork to get to Namanga and back to Kajiado in one day, just about 250km of cycling.
The remaining tours of 2016 that I am aware of is Tour of Mombasa (2-3 days) and Tour of Arusha (1-2 days) na ile ingine ya @Meria Mata ya 300 km (siwes fanya hio).
Those are my memorable rides of 2016 and shedding so much weight mpaka had to buy almost an entire new wardrobe.

Hio effort yote, ilikua ni juu ya purr, gio ange weka weka baadae apo ndio purr angejua hii ni fisi ya kawaida imejivalia ngozi ya kondoo. After expose, purr alijitoa, skuizi ata guru anawezmake :D:D
