Kepa is a big risk investment…the scouts must have convinced the management the younger keeper has the potential to upstage the likes of Degea and Tivo.

Most people can’t remember De Gea costed us the league in his 1st season. 5 matches he costed us 15 points including some howler’s. What happened next was Sir Alex man management at its best. He backed him fully. The hardwork was in training, our goalkeeping coaches gave him extra sessions, the fitness coached worked on to increase his build and the team physio worked on his mental strength. The next season he was better and the year after he was knocking at the top. He got there and hasn’t looked back. My point is that he can be great if the coach and technical team work closely to develop him. De Gea is an end product of 3 great goalkeeper coaches at Man Utd. Something he says it himself.
