CHINESE MOTORCYCLES (SHINERAY)

Hey folks. a friend of mine is selling me his Shineray 250cc dualsport at a throwaway price of 95k. Normally I’m a huge advocate for Japanese, but when I rode this bike it was very smooth and had decent amounts of torque. My pockets aren’t very fat at the moment, and this will be my first bike (gonna make two payments for it).

What should I look out for with chinese bikes? eg. are parts easy to get? Are they reliable? Do you think this is worth it? What’s your experience like with such a bike if you have one? Thanks feedback will be highly appreciated. Also would you recommend any japanese alternatives in case this one doesn’t serve me too well?

They are not. You will get quite remarkable looking bikes but they are poorly egineered. If you are extreme biker avoid shineray.

Have you ever owned a chinese bike? I’m only interested in this one because of a limited budget

I have a friend who bought a shineray. He still has it but very poor quality parts where it matters especially drive train.

I can’t count the number of these bikes I’ve seen with the rear wheel not following where the front wheel did.
Why is it so cheap?

Don’t you think that the Shinerays salesmen are better suited to answer you. Ama hapa kuna Shineray salesman?
Oh yeah there is,the one selling @mjuolsofdoom a bike…

It is so cheap because you are rich. Anymore questions?
