Young adults Europe and America have this thing where they dream of travelling the world even if they are dirt poor. They call it backpacking.
When they come to our third world countries we treat the little shits like little gods. We let them into our schools, let them take photos of our kids ovyo-ovyo and generally let them do whatever. They contribute nothing economically or culturally. It is high time we started asking them for bank statements and evidence of employment like they do to us. We should also see hotel booking before that visa is issued.
When they eventually run out of money they beg and scam the locals.
