Tension is high in Kisauni following the shooting of one of the Wakali Kwanza gang members today. The gang members may conduct retaliatory attacks especially in Mwadoni, Bakarani, Barsheba, Frere town, Mlaleo and environs. Please avoid any night activities in these areas after 8.30pm.

Last week they hacked to death a known police informer by the name of JIRONGO. They descended on him with axes at around 7 pm in barsheba area. It is claimed that he was responsible for much of the arrests of wakali kwanza. Kisauni has become the most dangerous place in kenya for now,the thugs stab and hack you first then rob you. With a rate of up to 10 robberies per night,thats around 4 to 5 deaths a week and those who survive are left with disabilities and scars. Avoid this areas at all costs even in daytime- barsheba,magogoni,kagujo, mafisini and mshomoroni. Once the safest place in mombasa,barsheba has deteriorated and gone to the dogs.
At night,the whole of kisauni in exception of KIEMBENI is a no go zone. Most are 15 year olds armed with axes and machetes walking in groups of 5 to 8 and ready to maim or kill anyone crossing their path. When police embark in shooting them, the human rights groups on donor pay cheque come out and cry foul like they did last week. I strongly propose the return of funga file ways of approaching this menace.
