In my opinion these kind of seats are overrated and aren’t even comfortable. More for show than comfort.

I was wondering the same. That is a stiff chair with a stiff back. Absolutely shit to sit in for long hours. There are chairs in la viva club that absoulutely fit the comfort he is looking for. The design of them is absolutely nice and just feels like you are sitting on a water bed.

Make sure to get it made with cured (dried ) wood otherwise the seat might look totally different once the wood ‘‘dries’’.If you intend to get some thing costing more than 50k ya furniture its better to get it from a reputable fundi.I know this too well . I once bought sofa stuffed with pieces of cloth and there were traces of hair.
Ya pili nika uziwa ya mufariti aka mukima and some small wood borers ( In kikuyu known as Thuthi ) they ate the frame kama biscuit and thats when i decided i have to do it right .There is a time i went to Huruma and some fundi had sofa frames made with Jacaranda and others from Avocado ( avocado wood in Nairobi is sold off as blue gum ole wako) .Hii Nairobi ni noma .
