So juzi I saw someone being bashed seriously online coz they posted a photo sitting on a couch that had seat covers. Akaambiwa to get rid of the covers eti coz it’s ushamba.
I beg to differ with that view. If airlines use covers kwa head rest to protect against sweat, hair oils and skin debris, then the seats at home should also have covers to protect from the same and also the huge amount of dust that is in Kenya. You don’t want your seats armrests to turn greasy and dirty like those coats of old wazees in the village. If seat covers are used in cars to protect from dust and grease, why not at home? Hata huko majuu they like to keep their seats clean.
This is like asking why buy a beautiful duvet and then cover it up with a duvet cover. The duvet cover absorbs all the sweat, oils and farts and can be easily removed and cleaned. Same with the seat covers. Seems like our parents knew something about seat covers that we don’t want to know.
Then why don’t you buy an cheap and ugly sofa…put the covers and no one will know the quality and price. See my drift? If you buy ans expensive sofa and I buy an ugly one …as long as we out the same covers then they’re the same. Why waste money then ?
The thing I like about them is that it is our unique style. I think that is a Kenyan thing.
We don’t have to look American in everything we do because we are not slaves
Kwani viti zako hukaliwa na watu wangapi in a day and for how long? Ile ni matatu, watu wanaingia wakitoka, unless kwako ni danguro. Weka hizi katika hio harakati …
