RESIDENTS in Dagoretti have vowed to teach the MP a lesson. Reason? The residents say since they elected him in 2013 he has never interacted with them to hear their problems. Corridors was told that they only see the outspoken MP on TV and sometimes in the newspapers. The residents urged Corridors to pass the message to the MP should we come across him. The residents are said to have begun the discussion when they met in a search for water in one locality. Talk about hot water!
Record ngani ? Maybe all along we have been missing the point. Tha work of a legislator is to legislate. So, attandance to Parliament and contributions to the legislation processes should be a key factor when evaluating our MP’s.
But that’s not the case on the ground, for the best legislators in .ke are the ones that give the biggest handouts, we all have seen Sonko in action.
job for an mp is to make laws and perform oversight roles on behalf of voters, but in our case is to make noise ,dish handouts & sing praises for their demigods.Sample this, since 2013,how many laws that directly impact common man have been debated, not even passed.
Tell me about it. Mine is even worse. Guiness ti mama ya mtu kweli! The grandma of all hangovers is upon me like bad grammar on @kawambui’s posts!!! Wacha nijifiche kabla afike huku na panga anikatekate!!!
