David Ndii on Why SGR Doesnt Make Any Sense

Very insightful piece on why SGR doesn’t make any sense. Whatever your political persuasions, he asks very pertinent questions and tables some rather powerful facts.

We have heard and read his tirade before. Wake me up when he has suggestions on how to make it viable.

Pass. When politics informs your argument it loses its very meaning.

After seeing this man foaming in the mouth while shouting inciting nonsense during the election, I would believe in fairies before anything he froths

No wonder they were banned from Njoro

To my surprise, he admitted that the noises that politicians turned into the ‘wamekula’ songs was actually just politically motivated. And the truth is, the current government did not inflate any SGR costs, all the deals were signed, approved and sealed by the previous coalition government.

Who was yo bet with me that this going is going to run in 2022? Using recycled arguments is one way to stay in the minds of Kenyans.

Better another guy we know who creates real drama and idiots actually stone each other.

Whatever mea culpas he may come with are wasted as long as he sacrificed his intellectual fidelity at the altar of politics. Who says he is not doing it again?

Use your own reasoning and thinking.

Is the SGR impactful?

When will SGR loans mature?

How many jobs and skills have been passed?
Ndii is telling his side and because no one will question or grill his facts people will easily listen. We can begin seeing the full effects of the SGR in 5 years.

Very interesting especially the part about the project not being inflated. Yes Ndii joined politics and I for one couldn’t read or listen to anything he said regarding politics, but when it comes to matters the economy you’d be stupid not to listen to what he has to say.

What effects are those. Can you show?

Ndiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

I like how people dismiss Mr. Ndii with all manner of BS.

Perhaps Ndii can one day tell Kenyans why his employment in Rwanda abruptly ended and why no global economic think tank or publication is interested in his “economic genius”. The Washington Post and the Economist have space for Gathara, but not for Ndii the so called Economist.

Residents in Kajiado West couldn’t get any water and had to pay to get water to them. No more since now they’ll get free natural spring water thanks to the tunnel of the SGR.

Surely you can’t bring up Ndii here and expect a sober economic discussion … … …You will be shouted down. Ndii, Like Ngunyi and Kagwanja is also a polarizing figure. His views could be right…or wrong…but we will always have one side singing his praises while the other side will always dismiss him so wale tumetoka ulevini let’s sleep and leave this types of discussions out of this village…will never elicit proper discussion.

THis water flows 100 kms from where to where?

Hapo kwa skills, true. No Kenyan train driver has ever operated the train except on camera for Gatheca (for 10 minutes).
