dealing with annoying scrambled channels on tv's with inbuilt dvb-t2

If you happen to own either sony , lg or samsung etal brands that came with an inbuilt decoder, you will notice your channel list contains a long list of scrambled channels from the likes of gotv and startimes.

Now if you want to deal away/hide those channels , you can go the manual way, whereby you select one by one and hide/skip so that they are no longer in your channel list .
Another , quicker way is to use the mass editor tool, ChanSort , where you export the channel list from the tv to a usb , edit it on a pc, then import back the new list to the tv and VIOLA!!
You can even sort, favourite the channels the way you like em

the tool is available here http://www.freewarefiles.com/ChanSort_program_89078.html
the user guide is available here (note your model) https://github.com/PredatH0r/ChanSort/wiki

Great. These TVs grab any DVB-T2 channels available, whether scrambled or not. Most people use the skip feature.

Kuna some TVs like Hotpoint yenye niliona haina option ya ku scan FTA channels only
