Truth be told we don’t come amuse ourselves with informed and intelligent conversation, the low standards of discussions is the essence of what made this forum special.
Ktalk has become a victim of its own success. Initially it was populated by content-creators-- there was plenty of personal drama, bitch fights and heated arguments not to mention more sinister incidents like the supposedly high iq members being conned. This attracted greater numbers of spectators and an even greater number of retards and shitheads.
so you had a 2 pronged crap-ifying of the forum -
One prong is the tyrant moderators who continue to enforce their own biases and stifle discussion with an iron fist in the name ''keeping order and restoring normal decencies ‘’.
The other prong is the increased prevalence of the smug and superior ‘spectators’-- they never create threads but will occasionally shit on threads with their pointed sarcasm and incredible air of superiority.
Such being the matter, content-creators were driven away from such an environment, leaving only the tyrants, street corner statesmen, spectators and the sentimental & stodgy neanderthals . In fact the only thing keeps this rickety forum afloat is the tired redpill-mgtow-singo mother korero.
As the quantity & quality of content on the forum took a long, slow, nose-dive even the administrator & moderators got bored and they flocked to some other medium.
Senior villager, if your self bragging posts didn’t attract your anticipated likes,kindly leave in peace.
The varied, rare characters on this forum can’t allow me to be absent for more than 2 hrs.
The only reason ktalk still exists is the diasporans who see it as the last link to home affairs. Otherwise, very few local cats will stick around here for more than a few months at best
